| Arthouse at the Jones Center January 9, 2 pm FREE Sunday Matinée Series Community Room (2nd floor) Tampopo Directed by Juzo Itami, 1985, Rated R Trucker Goro and his sidekick Gun ride into town to help Tampopo set up the perfect fast-food noodle restaurant. Woven into this main narrative are a number of smaller stories about the importance of food, ranging from a gangster who mixes hot sex with food to a housewife who rises from the dead to cook her family one last meal. |
