| West End 1st Thursday October 2 1st Thursday Gallery Night Open until 8 pm October’s featured venue is ART on 5th. For years Hessam Abrishami’s dynamic compositions, powerful expressions, and vibrant colors have captured viewers around the world with their amazing depth and unique intrigue. Hessam’s work portrays whimsical figures that are bright and bold, symbolizing the celebration of life, romance, and emotion. Born in Shiraz, Iran in 1951, Hessam left his home country to expand his knowledge and pursue life as an artist. He studied in Italy for a number of years before finally settling in California. Hessam’s artwork has been featured in over 100 one-man gallery shows, 25 international exhibitions, and multiple museums. |

Join artist Phillip Wade as you focus closely on the art on view and practice your drawing skills. Philip Wade has been a member of the Art School faculty since 1999.
