Austin Responds: Any Thing Can Happen
Three award-winning improvisational comedy troupes mix guerilla film making with live stage performances and musical accompaniment for a one-of-a-kind multi-media laugh riot. The all-star cast of local comedians and videographers made up of troupes ColdTowne, the Frank Mills, and Parallelogramophonograph screened their award-winning production, 3, 2, 1 Kill! at the Alamo Drafthouse this year. Using Extra-Ordinary: The Everyday Object in American Art as their inspiration, they will bring their unique brand of improv to AMOA. "Found" objects and suggestions provided by the audience fuel this unique and spontaneous spectacle. Most movies take months to make. They get ten minutes.
All programs are free with museum admission.
