William E. Dassonville, photographer

Dassonville's pictorialist style was typical of the late nineteenth-century trend in photography that had as its principal purpose the expression of forms of beauty. Oswald Gallery is proud to display and offer for sale a collection of vintage photographs that span Dassonville's entire career -- including some very rare pieces that survived the San Francisco fire of 1906.
