		Austin Museum of Art November 23 - February 2 Pertaining to Painting Pertaining to Painting explores nine emerging artists whose work, although diverse and highly individual, is primarily inspired by the varied tradition of this medium—ranging from nineteenth-century symbolism to 1920s early modernism to 1960s minimalism. Their work is featured alongside that of 6 more established Texas artists: Michael Ray Charles, Vernon Fisher, Benito Huerta, Ken Little, Bill Lundberg, and Gael Stack, who each served as one of the emerging artist's respective teachers or mentors.
