Gremillion & Co. 10:00am -
5:00pm Robert Rector Come see the fusion between minimalism and expressionism with
paintings by Robert Rector from 10:00 - 5:00. Robert Rector received his M.F.A. from Louisiana
State University in 1973. For the last twenty years his work has been concentrated with the
reconciliation of his two major influences: abstract expressionism and minimalism. The resulting
consolidation and evolution of these two seemingly opposing movements have consistently provided
solid painting, incorporating raw gestural beauty within a thoughtful geometrical
structure.
